Here I am in my office. It was a pretty uneventful job until I was sent to Sarajevo for 3 days. The encampment there was cold and not nearly as comfy as San Vito. I was asked to evaluate an Army major serving over there. I recommended that he be replaced and had him out of there before Christmas. I'm sure he remembers me to this day and was happy to be let go from a 9 month tour in Bosnia. On the bright side the food there was amazing. We ate in the chow hall which was run by the French (this was a NATO effort). Fresh bread, cheese, fruit, steak, lobster, and foods from all over the world to satisfy the palates of the 28 nations serving there and it didn't cost a dime.
