The next day I enter Event #49: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em. This event draws 2,718 players each starting with 3,000 in chips. By Level 4 I sit with 15,000 chips, well above some of the listed pros, including Amarillo Slim, but I never live to see the start of the next level.
