The big day has finally arrived. We rolled into New Orleans on Saturday, checked into the DoubleTree, and headed over to check in for the race and pick up Cynthia's bib number, shirt, and race packet for the New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon. Huge crowds. We grabbed a late lunch at Desire's Oyster Bar and got to bed early. Race time was at 7:00am the next morning.
