Honeymoon in Italy

After a very quick walk through the Vatican Museum we toured St. Peter's Basilica and got this clear picture of Michelangelo's Pieta. Here we learned that a madman had taken a hammer to it some years ago and broken the fingers and nose of the Virgin Mary before being stopped. Now it's protected by bullet-proof glass and alarms.
