Since the earthquake destroyed must of Assisi and parts of the town were off limits for fear of falling debris, we drove to Perugia instead. The ride was very picturesque. Perugia is home to Perugina Chocolates, maker of the delicious Baci candies. I bought a variety pack and finished it on the bus.
