Hay Day is a farming game created by Supercell, the same folks that brought you Clash of Clans. Players work their farm -- planting crops, raising livestock, and producing products. These items are then "sold" in their roadside shop. Players try to fill various orders to earn gold and experience points which open more facets of the game, such as the ability to join a neighborhood, buy new farm equipment and livestock, plant fruit trees or berry bushes, and buy decorations to personalize their farm.

As soon as I saw this game I knew Cynthia would love it. It has all of the quality graphics and game play that Supercell is known for, but without the "violence" that Clash of Clans brings to the table. Plus, with its seemingly endless number of decorations, Cynthia could spend days crafting a beautiful farm. I was right. She's played non-stop for 2 weeks now, oftentimes for 8 or more hours a day, logging off at midnight. She's addicted. She says it's like adult Colorforms.

If you play Hay Day be sure to Connect via Facebook, this way you can play along with Cynthia (and me too). And when you really become addicted you can join my Hay Day neighborhood, called Foolish Pleasure and get access to our very own Foolish Pleasure website.
